A man running a prostitution racket was arrested by the police officials on Monday. The man used to abduct the girls from various cities and brought them to Hyderabad. He then sells the girls to different people. Some were sent for prostitution.

Police started a search operation in which they come to know about this man. Officials made a special search team to locate the man and the racket. special Operations Team (SOT), Rachakonda along with Neredmet police arrested a man on Monday for running a prostitution racket by bringing in girls from various cities to Hyderabad. 

The man named Syed Rafeeq, Addl DCP, SOT, Rachakonda, identified the prostitution kingpin of the racket as P. Sarkar Pradeep, 42, who brought in girls from Kolkata, Kolhapur, and Solapur. 

Police officials found some of the girls at a lodge in Neredmet, where Pradeep alias Sanju along with one Malik, 45, use to torture the girls after confining them in a room in Nirmal Nagar, Neredmet. Based on his statement, police officials found four more girls in a lodge in Patancheru, who were kept in there since Saturday. Malik is absconding. All five girls who were rescued by the officials have been sent to rescue home.
