New Delhi: 5 passengers have been found to be Corona positive in a flight to India from the United Kingdom yesterday. According to the information given by the nodal officer, a total of 266 passengers including cabin crew had arrived in the flight from London to India last night. All were subjected to RT PCR test. All the passengers who come negative will also have to stay in the necessary home quarantine for 7 days.

All information of these passengers will be shared in the district office. Monitoring will be done every day and on the sixth day of the quarantine, all these passengers will be corona tested again. 5 out of 266 passengers have been found positive. All the infected passengers have been sent to Covid Care Center. A sample of positive people has been taken, which will be sent for further research in NCDC.

The corona has not been wreaked havoc all over the world and a new strain of this virus has caused panic in the world. This new strain of Corona spread across the UK has caused massive destruction. Initial investigations have shown that it is more contagious than the earlier coronavirus. Scientists named this new virus B.1.1.7. Officials say the virus spreads 70% faster. British PM Boris Johnson on Saturday announced several restrictions due to the new strain. After this, the European Union and many other countries of the world including India have either stopped or extremely limited flights to prevent infection.
