Patna: Police and administrative department has been stirred up in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar due to the death of five people in 48 hours. The incident took place at Dargah Tola of Katra police station in the district last night. The death of three more people has also been reported. The body of one of them has been taken by the Katra police and sent for post-mortem.

The autopsy of Vinod Manjhi's body was also conducted on Friday at SKMCH. Preliminary investigations have not revealed the cause of his death. In the same group, on Thursday, the SSP himself reached the village to investigate with his team at night after the news of death by drinking poisonous liquor made headlines. However, the police team could not confirm the death due to drinking alcohol. However, on Friday, the police started investigating the point of poisonous liquor. The dog squad and alcohol prohibition team raided several targets. An FIR has been lodged against the unknown on the statement of the village watchman. It discusses the death of four people.

In addition to Vinod Manjhi on Friday, the deaths of Ajay Manjhi and Sonal Kumar were also discussed in the area. However, the police could only recover Vinod's body. The talk of the other two being cremated in a hurry continued to spread in the area. According to the villagers, the five deceased whose names are being counted, all worked at the same place. Half a dozen other villagers are also getting sick and there is talk of secret treatment.
