The official said the study found that 86.5 per cent of the COVID-19 victims in the state were admitted to ZMCs, and 65 per cent were above 60 years of age. The study said that out of the total COVID-19 victims, 133 were not vaccinated, while 21 were fully vaccinated and 30 of them received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. dose was received. Twenty-three had no disease other than Covid-19, while most of them had co-morbidities like hypertension, diabetes, asthma, cancer, tuberculosis and liver problems, it said.
The study also said that so far four pregnant women have died of COVID-19 in Mizoram. Mizoram reported 886 Covid-19 cases on Saturday, taking the state's tally to 56,644, officials said.
