New Delhi: An allocation of Rs 2000 crore has been made from the PM Cares Fund created in the wake of global epidemic corona virus. In a statement issued by the government on Tuesday, it has been said that from these 2000 crores, 50 thousand Made in India ventilators will be purchased, which will be used in the ongoing war against the corona virus. Apart from this, 1000 crore rupees have also been released for the migrant laborers on behalf of PM Cares.

In the ongoing war against the corona virus, these 50,000 ventilators will be given to government hospitals of the Union and State Governments, where treatment of corona virus patients is underway. In a statement issued by the PMO, it is told that Bharat Electronics will manufacture 30 thousand of these ventilators. While the remaining 20 thousand ventilators will be made by other domestic companies including Agva Healthcare, AMTZ Basic.

Out of these 50 thousand, 2923 ventilators have been constructed so far, out of which 1340 have been given to the states. As of now, 275 have been provided to Maharashtra, 275 to Delhi, 175 to Gujarat, 100 to Bihar, 90 to Karnataka and 75 to Rajasthan, by the end of June and 14,000 ventilators will be provided to the state. Let us tell you that questions have been raised on behalf of the opposition, including the Congress party, about PM Cares. Opposition has been demanding to make all its information public, while it is talking about giving money to the poor.
