New Delhi: Delhi Assembly Speaker Ramnivas Goyal has been sentenced to 6 months in jail. The Rouse Avenue Court has sentenced Speaker Ram Niwas Goel, his sons Sumit Goel, Hitesh Khanna, Atul Gupta and Balbir Singh to 6 months imprisonment and fine. The court has given bail to all the convicts on a bond of 10 thousand so that the guilty can challenge this decision in the upper court.

Ram Niwas Goyal has been sentenced in the case of forcibly entering the house of BJP leader Manish Ghai. According to the verdict, Ramnivas Goyal and 4 others have been convicted for forcibly entering the victim's house. While Ramnivas Goyal's son Sumit Goyal has been sentenced after being found guilty of forcibly entering and beating the victim's house.
