6 Pakistani officers suspended for taking selfie with corona positive patient

Islamabad: 6 officers have been suspended for taking selfies with their colleague infected with Coronavirus in Pakistan. It has been told in the media report that in the medical test, these officers were taking selfies with a colleague who was found positive of Coronavirus infection. On Sunday, the number of people caught in the coronavirus epidemic has reached 750. 

Giving information about the report of Dawn News, the deputy commissioner of Khairpur district has suspended six revenue officers posted in different areas after taking a selfie with his colleague. The person with whom the officer was taking selfies was found infected with the coronavirus. The person who was found to be Corona positive had recently come to Pakistan from Iran. One officer has told on the condition of confidentiality that he was taking selfie due to goodwill with his colleague who had come to pilgrimage from Iran.

While giving the information, the officer has said that the person returning from Iran during the selfie was not showing any signs of corona infection nor did he complain about any problem. After this, someone shared this picture on social media. But a few days later the man returning from Iran was found to be corona positive in the test. The officers who took selfies have now been sent to isolation.
