6,000 TRS party representatives dressed in pink to attend HICC today

Hyderabad: Thousands of party workers and 6,000 delegates dressed in pink attire will attend the TRS party plenary session at the Hitex International Convention Center (HICC) today. They have been asked to reach the venue by 10 am and complete the registration process as per the constituency wise stalls. M Srinivas Reddy, the returning officer of the presidential election process, will announce the election of K Chandrasekhar Rao as the President. TRS chief KCR will hoist the party flag and pay homage to the martyrs. Party General Secretary K Keshav Rao will deliver the welcome address. After the welcome address, the TRS chief will deliver his speech. Before lunch the party leaders will take a resolution.

The venue and surrounding areas are expected to see heavy traffic movement on the roads, with the Cyberabad Traffic Police issuing some traffic restrictions. Accordingly, the traffic from Neeru's Emporium towards Gachibowli Junction will be diverted to COD (Ayyappa Society, Madhapur) avoiding the inaccessible Cheruvu, Inorbit, ITC Kohinoor, Ikea, Bio-diversity, Gachibowli Junction and vice versa, Cyber Towers Junction.

Similarly, traffic from Miyapur, Kothaguda, Hafeezpet areas towards Hitech City, Cyber Towers, Jubilee Hills will be diverted towards Rolling Hills AIG Hospital, Ikea, Inorbit, Durgam Cheruvu Road avoiding Cyber Towers Junction. Officials said that vehicles coming from RC Puram, Chandannagar towards Madhapur and Gachibowli areas may be diverted towards BHEL, Nalgandla, HCU, IIIT, Gachibowli road by avoiding Allwyn-Kondapur road. Police urged citizens to heed traffic advisories and use alternate routes to avoid inconvenience.
