Islamabad: From the information just received, it has come to know that the sale of girls in Pakistan is going on indiscriminately. From the year 2018 till now, 629 Pakistani girls were sold to Chinese citizens as 'brides' and they were also sent to China. Due to its close ties with China, Pakistan is unable to do anything to break the network involved in trafficking girls.

According to information received from sources, it has been learned that Pakistani investigative agencies are involved in breaking the smuggling network indulging in the purchase and sale of girls, but are not able to take any effective action due to pressure from the federal government. The Pakistan government fears that this action may hurt friendly relations with China. China has invested heavily in its evergreen friend Pakistan. As a result, 31 Chinese nationals caught in human trafficking were acquitted in a court in Faisalabad last October. A court official and an investigator said that several young women who opened their mouths in front of the police later refused to give statements in the court as they were threatened or silenced with money.

Where their families are implicated in the trap by giving them huge amount of money. At the same time, they are told that after marriage their daughter's life will be transformed.

A huge amount goes to recover: It is being said that Chinese and Pakistani smugglers involved in smuggling of girls charge up to 65 thousand dollars (about 45 lakh rupees) for a bride from a Chinese citizen. But the girl's family does not get more than one lakh rupees.
