New Delhi: With the death of seven more people in different states on Thursday, the death toll due to Coronavirus infection in India has increased to 20. This is the largest number of deaths in one day so far. According to media reports, 71 new cases of infection were also reported on Thursday and with this, the number of people with coronavirus infection crossed 700 to 727.

It is noteworthy that today is the third day of the 21-day lockdown announced due to Coronavirus in the country. During this time only people related to essential services can move out of their homes. During this time the government has also directed to avoid hoarding and black marketing. Two deaths (both are 65-year-old women) have been reported in Mumbai on Thursday. Apart from this, the death of a 65-year-old businessman from Sopore in Jammu and Kashmir and a 73-year-old man from Bhilwara, Rajasthan, is also reported.

Let us tell you that the number of elderly people in deaths from this infection is still high. Madhya Pradesh has also reported his second death. Here a 35-year-old man was admitted to the hospital after fever, cough and difficulty in breathing. During investigation, he was found to be corona positive and later died during treatment in Indore. No clue of his foreign travel has been found. Earlier, a 65-year-old woman from the state succumbed to the epidemic.
