New Delhi: There is urgent news for crores of central employees and pensioners. In fact, after getting the enhanced Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR), the employees and pensioners can now get one more allowance. Yes, and so far, any employee who could not claim the Children's Education Allowance (CEA) due to the Corona epidemic, should make their claim before March 31, 2022. In fact, you will not even need any official documents for this. Let us tell you all that the central employees also get an allowance for the education of their children, which is Rs 2,250 per month as per the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission. However, since last year, the schools have been closed due to the Corona epidemic, due to which the central staff could not claim the CEA. Because of this, its last date was adjusted. At the same time, make the CEA claim before the deadline.

In order to claim the Children's Education Allowance, the central employees have to put up school certificates and claim documents. Apart from this, in the declaration received from the school, it is written that the child studies in their institution. At the same time, the academic calendar in which you have studied is also mentioned. For CEA claims, the child's report card, self-attested copy and fee receipt are also required. In July, the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) had issued an Office of Memorandum (OM). In which it was said that due to Corona, the central employees have faced difficulties in claiming the Children's Education Allowance.

Because, even after depositing the fee online, the result/report cards were not sent from the school through SMS/e-mail. According to DoPT, CEA claims can also be claimed through self-declaration or print out of SMS/e-mail of result/report card/fee payment. However, this facility will be only for the academic year ending in March 2020 and March 2021. At the same time, let us tell you that the central employees get the Children's Education Allowance for the education of two children, this allowance per child is Rs 2250 per month. That is, for two children, the employees get 4500 rupees a month. At the same time, the second child is twins, so this allowance is also given for the study of the twins with the first child.

At the same time, according to two academic calendars, a child has to be paid Rs 4500. In such a situation, if an employee has not yet made a claim for March 2020 and March 2021, then he can claim it and due to this, 4500 rupees will be added to his salary.
