On Sunday the first teaser of one of the most awaited movies of the year, South Star Prabhas starring Adipurush was released but it was welcomed with more negative views than positive views as some people are very disappointed with Saif Ali Khan being caste as Ravana and some are very disappointed. Here are some reasons because of the movie’s teaser is brutally criticized.
- In the teaser it shows a scene where a ghosts appear. Which lead users in Disappointment one wrote, “In Adipurush, Rama is seen fighting an army of demons. I have never heard of such a depiction in any Hindu or folklore. These scenes are copied from Hollywood movies.”
- Said Ali Khan as Ramayan is completely rejected by the audience. Saif Ali Khan is seen in a modern, stylish and spiked haircut. People used to call Saif Khilji instead of Raavan.
- Prabhas is playing the role of Lord Sri Rama in this film. But instead of standing on his feet, sandals are visible. Although there was no earlier Ramayana where Sri Rama’s attire is shown in this way as the characters are shown in Ramayana.
- Speaking about Kriti Shannon, She is playing the role of Sita in the film. But people have also questioned her appearance. People are outraged with the way Kriti is seen in the teaser and the kind of clothes she is wearing.
- Another disappointing fact about the teaser, Instead of Pushpak Biman, Saif Ali Khan, who plays Ravana, is shown riding a dragon in the film. People say about Ravana that Ravana is a great religious figure, not a demon.
- One of the most disturbing facts about the film is its VFX. It is said that the film’s VFX is very bad. Moreover, users said that the VFX in the film is worse than cartoon or animation films.
- The scenes shown in the teaser are copied from Chris Hemsworth’s ‘Extraction’ according to some people. The film also has a scene where Hoo-Boo-Ho meditates underwater.
- The VFX is being compared to children’s games ‘Temple Run’ and ‘Game of Thrones’ and after seeing this VFX, users are calling Brahmastra VFX better.
- Most disappointing factors,is the portrayal of Hanuman. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister expressing his disappointment said, ‘I saw the teaser of Adi Purush. There are objectionable scenes in the movie. He said that the way the central points of our faith are shown in the movie is not correct at all. Now Hanuman’s clothes are shown to be made of leather. It is definitely an attack on Hindu faith. These are the scenes that hurt the sentiments of Hindus.”
