Raipur: Tragic reports of 8 deaths of 8 members of the same family in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh are being reported and the condition of 5 others is said to be critical. The family reportedly took homeopathic medicine on the advice of a satchel doctor after they had symptoms of corona infection. Police are investigating the case and are also investigating from another possible angle.

The incident has come to light from the Sirgitti police station area of Bilaspur. Here in Kormi village, all the family members had consumed home-based medicine containing alcohol when they had symptoms of the corona. They had consumed homeopathic medicine Drosera 30. Shortly thereafter, however, everyone's health began to deteriorate and 8 people died one after the other. Four of the deceased were cremated at night, so the case has also become suspicious.

On the other hand, 5 people are still in critical condition and are hospitalized. Bilaspur CMO said that 8 family members died due to drinking homeopathic medicine and 5 are admitted to the hospital. He further said that they had consumed homeopathic medicine Drosera 30, which contains 91 percent alcohol. The doctor is said to be absconding and the search is on.
