An elderly woman lost her life due to the loose functioning of the health department in Pathankot, Punjab. This time the case is related to the city's mohalla Rampura, where 80-year-old woman Sita Devi suddenly suffered a heart attack. After this, the family gave information to 108 number ambulances and requested to be sent to the hospital.

For your information, let us tell you that the woman's son Rajindra Jindi alleged that many questions were asked when he called 108. Even after giving full details, the ambulance did not reach for a quarter of an hour. After that I called several times, but every time I got an assurance to send an ambulance soon. An hour later the operator said that the ambulance is busy at this time, it will take time. On this, he came out after loading his sick mother on the street but he died on the way.

Apart from this, Jindra told that his nephew had a stomach ache last month. He went to 4-5 private and then government hospital with nephew but no one treated him. Private hospitals refused treatment, while the doctors at the civil hospital referred the child to Amritsar without doing a checkup. The child died before reaching Amritsar. Rajindra said that the family had not been able to emerge from the shock of the child's death, that the mother had also been lost due to the negligence of the health department.
