Indore: Another patient has been confirmed dead due to the epidemic in Indore, which is among the districts most affected by the coronavirus havoc in the country. The number of patients who died of this epidemic in the district has increased to 87. The total number of people infected with this epidemic has increased from 1,727 to 1,780 after the coronavirus has seen 53 more patients during the last 24 hours in the district.

Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Praveen Jadia said on Saturday that a 55-year-old woman infected with Corona breathed her last on Thursday after a 10-day treatment at a city hospital. She was already battling high blood pressure, sepsis (blood poisoning) and other diseases. Praveen Jadia said that 53 more coronavirus patients were found in the district during the last 24 hours. After this, the number of people affected by this epidemic has increased from 1,727 to 1,780. However, out of these, 732 patients have been discharged from hospitals on treatment after getting infection-free.

Analysis of the latest data shows that in the district of Indore, which is in the Red Zone, the corona mortality rate was 4.89 percent on Saturday morning. However, there is a big drop in this mortality rate of 5.44 percent as compared to 30 days ago. According to the data of the state government, the mortality rate of coronavirus patients in the district as on the morning of April 9 was 10.33 percent. The administration has imposed curfew in the urban border since March 25, after the first patient of coronavirus was found in Indore, while strict lockdown is in force in other areas of the district.
