Ahmedabad: Outbreak of rain and flooding continues in Gujarat. Here 9 people have lost their lives due to floods while 78 people have been saved by rescuing. There are still floods due to heavy rains in many areas. Alerts are on in many areas of the state. Rajkot is in bad condition due to rain and floods. In Rajkot, flood water has entered the back of Swami Narayan Temple. A large part of the temple has been submerged in the flood waters.

Along with this, the water level is constantly increasing in many dams here, due to which there is a danger of flooding in the lowlands. The previous part of the Swaminarayan temple located in Gondal area has been filled with water. Efforts are being made to remove water. Floods in other cities of Gujarat are also bad. 50 people were trapped in the flood in Morbi area. They were rescued by the team of NDRF. These people were trapped in their fields in a village. After several hours of operation, all have been safely evacuated. The district administration has arranged for their stay.

The process of heavy rains in Gir Somnath, Gujarat is not taking the name of stopping. Due to which the Machhendru River is in spate. Here in the village of Phonfani Tehsil, the tank of the Gram Panchayat was hit by the flood of the river and due to erosion, it got washed away in the river. The speed of the river can be gauged by the fact that the water tank was found on the banks of a field after flowing about one kilometer.
