Pakistani censor board banned the Indian movie Mulk due to its content flout. On the ban of the movie, director Anubhav Sinha appealed Pakistani views to watch the movie illegally. Chairman of Pakistan Central Board of Film Censor, Danyal Gilani informed that Members of the CBFC unanimously decided not to approve the trailer of ‘Mulk‘ as its contents flout the Censorship of Film Code, 1980.

After the Ban of Movies in Pakistan, Anubhav Sinha wrote a ‘letter to Pakistan’. He raises the question that why Pakistani censor board in not letting people watch the movie that is about co-existence.In his letter, he wrote that he really want Pakistani viewers to watch it illegally as it is the film about love that all of us individual should have.
Director further added that Hindus are in minority in your country and muslims are in minority in ours. He also appeals that we all must towards co-existence in peace and harmony.

Benaras media works production Mulk is produced by Sinha and Deepak Mukut. Rishi Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu are in the pivotal role in the movie. The other movies which are releasing with Mulk are karwaan and Fanney khan. Both the movies have been cleared by Pakistani censor board for release.
