Ashish Pandey reaches Patiala House Court to surrender: I'm being projected like wanted terrorist

New Delhi. The video of a young man waving a pistol two days ago in the Hyatt Hotel in the national capital Delhi was viral. After this viral video, there was an uproar over the issue. The youth, who showed pistol and rowdy, was identified as Ashish Pandey, son of former BSP MP. After this incident, Ashish was absconding. In this case non-bailable warrant was issued against him. Now Ashish has surrendered in the Patiala House Court of Delhi.

On his arrest he gave clarification and said he is projecting like terrorist.

“I took the gun with me for safety.I didn't brandish it. It was hanging behind me all the time. I didn't even address that girl, she pushed me&made obscene hand gestures. I've faith in judiciary&so I decided to surrender. There is no history of police case against me”, Ashish Pandey saying in his defence quoted by ANI.

He added that he is being projected like a wanted terrorist & police across the nation is looking for him. He also said that if  you check CCTV footage, you'll find who went to ladies toilet that night & who threatened whom. A Circular has been issued against him

 According to the information, after the case came to light, the police had filed a case against Ashish and on Wednesday the court issued non-bailable warrants against him. This morning Asish surrendered in the court. In this case, the notice has also been issued for inquiries to people outside the hotel at the time of the incident.

It is noted that the video of pistol flapping was viral on Tuesday. In this video, Ashish Hyat is seen scaring a woman outside the hotel, showing a pistol. The video clearly shows that in this case the hotel's security personnel are watching the whole case standing quietly. Nobody has tried to stop Ashish when some people came to the rescue, the BSP leader's son sat in his car and left.
