Don’s sister Haseena Parker’s Mumbai flat auctioned

An e-auction of Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar's 600 sq feet flat at Nagpada was conducted under provisions of the Smuggling and Foreign Exchange Manipulators Act (SAFEMA) NDPS at Yashwantrao Chavan Pratisthan at Nariman Point in South Mumbai on April 1. Parkar was the youngest sister among Dawood's 11 siblings. It is believed she was one of the most investigated aides of Dawood -with intelligence agencies keeping a close watch on her day-to-day activities.

The flat of Haseena Parker in South Mumbai was auctioned in Mumbai. Haseena Parkar flat in Nagpada was auctioned for Rs 1.80 crore under the SAFEMA Act (Smuggling And Foreign Exchange Manipulators Act). The flat was sold after Parkar's relatives failed to prove that the property was bought from money acquired through legal sources. The property, flat number 12, A Wing 1st floor, Gordon Hall Apartment, Nagpada, has recently been attached by the Union Ministry of Finance.  Parkar stayed in the flat until she passed away in 2014. She died of a heart attack on June 7, 2014. She was survived by two daughters. Her eldest son Danish had died in a road accident. She was observing the Ramzan fast when she complained of chest pain.ShHe was immediately rushed to a near-by hospital and breathed her last there.
