International Indian Film Academy Awards(IIFA) every year brings lots of surprises, happiness and also leaves an entertaining feeling to its audience. This year the fest was celebrated in Bangkok, Thailand where many sizzling performances of Bollywood stars were enjoyed. Amidst all this, the shocking and monumental moment was when Bollywood Diva Rekha performed on the stage after around 21 years. 

The Siam Niramit Theatre of Bangkok was got shimmered with all those winners of the year who performed tremendously in their respective movies. On Sunday evening the main winners were Late Sridevi and Irrfan Khan who won the Best Performance Leading Role Award for the movies ‘Mom’ and ‘Hindi Medium’. Tumhari Sulu named as the Best Film of the year and Saket Chaudhary was awarded by Best Director of the year for ‘Hindi Medium’.

As the Best actress 2018 is not with us, her husband Boney Kapoor accepted the award on her behalf. The best actor was also absent in his special moment as he is seeking treatment in London for his disease neuroendocrine.

Best Actor In Supporting Role (Male): Nawazzuddin Siddiqui - Mom

Best Story: Amit V Masurkar - Newton

Best Music Direction: Amaal Mallik, Tanishk Bagchi, Akhil Sachdeva - Badrinath Ki Dulhania
