Indian Skipper Virat Kohli is grabbed the other personal milestone as he became the No.1 Test batsman. He has overtaken Steve Smith to become the new No.1 MRF Tyres ICC Player Rankings for Test Batsmen. He is the seventh Indian batsman to top the list of world’s best test batsmen.
India lost its first test match against England by 31 runs but Kohli successfully managed to earn 31 points by scoring 149 and 51. Steve Smith became held the top place since December 2015 who got banned for 1 year ban for his role in ball tempering scandal.
