LG Q6 starts getting Android 8.0 oreo updates

LG launched the mid-range smartphone LG Q6 in July last year. It was also brought to India in August 2017. At the launch, the handset came out of the box Android 7.1.1 with Nouga. By the way, so far many of LG's smartphones have not received an update of Android Oreo. But it appears that this update has rollout for LG Q6. A report from the South Korean media said that the selected LG Q6 user has started getting Oreo update. 

According to kbench publication report, the LG Q6 user in South Korea, the Android 8.0 Oreo update has started to rollout. Changelog has found that the update will come with DTS: X 3D surround sound and new camera LED option. Now that the update is released in South Korea, it is expected that it will be made available in other markets soon. For the time being, LG Q6a and LG Q6 +, other smartphones from the LG Q6 series, have not been able to find information about this update.

At the time of launch, the price of LG Q6 in India was 14,990 rupees. It has been made available on Amazon India. Speaking of the specification, LG Q6 has a 5.5-inch full-vision display with 1080x2160 pixel resolution. The smartphone has a Snapdragon 435 processor. LG's phone has a 13-megapixel rear camera. On the front side, the smartphone has a 5-megapixel camera with a wide-angle lens. It is also possible to increase 32GB of storage through the microSD card (up to 2 TB). 

Talking about connectivity, this smartphone has features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 B / G / N, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and USB Type-B 2.0. Its dimensions are 142.5x69.3x8.1 mm and weigh 149 grams. The battery is 3000 mAh. Accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope and proximity sensor are part of it.
