The practice among those with power or influence of favoring relatives or friends, especially by giving them jobs in same fraternity.

Instead of Kangana Ranout Kareena Kapoor Khan also beams about the issue of nepotism. She said, “A lot of things seem out of context. Does nepotism exist in every possible field? But nobody addresses that. In business families, the son takes over the business. A politician’s son takes over his place. Also, not many star-kids have achieved what their parents have. So I don’t understand why people are going on about it. Basically, the industry is a ruthless place. It’s about talent and survival of the fittest. Otherwise, a lot of star kids would’ve been No.1 stars in our country.”

If we look at the context of film industries, there is a vast difference between how Hollywood working functionality of Bollywood and Hollywood, they have agents, an audition process and then selection of actors based on the good point of those auditions. Yes, films still get made with stars before newcomers, but usually we see new actors in Hollywood every year that land impressive roles to those who have no relations to anyone. These actors are not related only to supporting roles. They are often given lead roles big and small films.

In Bollywood, however, the audition process appears to be less trustworthy. Many production companies claim that they give new people a chance all the time, which is true to a degree, but often times is more valuable for directors/writers than actors. Directors and writers get to work on their own projects and come to the forefront, but large production companies still by and large end up giving lead roles to individuals with connections specially the prefer star kids. Most other new actors only end up playing supporting roles in the films for the film company they auditioned for. How is it possible that in an open audition where hundreds of people come out, at the end, only star kids ends up getting the lead role?

Nepotism has placed in each and every fraternity in India from ancient times and in Bollywood there is vast role of this to launch star kids compare than new comers  is easy to get attention and publicity.
