Janmashtami is one of the main auspicious Hindu festivals which is celebrated every year on the Ashtami of Bhadon month. It is believed that Lord Krishna was born on this day, therefore Hindu devotees celebrated this day with great enthusiasm and organize a number of events. It is beloved that Krishna is the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu who took birth to defeat the evil. Krishna killed his Maternal uncle Kansa ( a demon) to eradicated the evilness.
