PM Modi calls and congratulates designated PM of Pakistan

 Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India has been known for his extraordinary ways of dealing with people.

Talking of the recent incident, the PM of India wished and congratulated the designated PM of Pakistan, Imran Khan on Monday.

Imran Khan has been the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), which is a political party in Pakistan. Modi congratulated him for his success in the General Elections of 2018 in Pakistan.

He also said that he hoped, with the leadership of Imran, democracy could prevail better in Pakistan.

As per the experts, it was a "courtesy call". Modi expressed that may be this time development would work in the region of Pakistan.

PTI, under the leadership of the cricketer turned politician Imran Khan has come up as the most popular political party of Pakistan. The party has managed to win over 116 seats.

On the 11th of August, Imran Khan would take the oath as the new Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Well, it is worth mentioning, that Imran Khan’s party does not have a majority and hence he would require the support of other parties to form a coalition and come to power.

China has also congratulated Imran Khan on his victory and asserted, “China welcomes the smooth completion of the general election in Pakistan and congratulates the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf led by Mr. Imran Khan for winning this election.”

The designated Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan asserted, "I have also decided about chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which I will announce in the next 48 hours. Whatever I have decided in this regard is in the best interest of people.”
