New Delhi [India], November 15 (NT): Prime Minister Narendra Modi came back to India on Wednesday after a series of dynamic mutual and multilateral activities in Manila.

Throughout his three-day visit, the Prime Minister met diverse world cream of the crops like United States President Donald Trump, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Australian counterpart Malcolm Turnbull.

 Prime Minister Modi addressed, earlier on Tuesday at 15th ASEAN-India Summit and insisted the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) to strengthen cooperation in struggling with terrorism.

"We have independently made every effort to fight terrorism and violent extremism. It is time that we mutually address this challenge by escalating cooperation in this critical area," Prime Minister Modi quoted

The Prime Minister assured the ASEAN of India's shore up in sustaining regional security.

"India's Act East Policy is formed around the ASEAN, and its centrality in the regional security architecture of the Indo-Pacific region is marked. India assures the ASEAN of its stable support towards attaining a rules-based regional security architecture that best attests to the region's interests and its passive progress," Prime Minister Modi further said.

The Prime Minister also invited the ASEAN leaders in India to be the chief guests on 26 JAN 2018 Republic Day celebrations.
