Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 244 runs in 4th ODI by taking the lead of 4-0 in series. Pakistan scored 399/1 in the first inning and coming down to chase this massive target but failed and got all out for 155 runs. 

Pakistani Openers Imam-Ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman broke all-time opening partnership in ODI history against Zimbabwe. This duo made the partnership of 304 runs for the first time which is a record in History of ODI cricket history. One more good news for Pakistan is that it got the batsman who made a double century in one-day international cricket.

Fakhar Zaman scored 210 runs and became the first Pakistani beating the record of Saeed Anwar’s inning of 194 runs against India and 6th Batsman in the world to hit the double century in ODI.  Imam- Ul- Haq also played an excellent inning and contributed 113 run from 122 balls to create a huge score of 399/1.

Both the Pakistani opener played very brilliantly to craft this huge partnership and to break the record set by Jayasuriya and Tharanga. These Srilankan players stitched partnership of 284 runs for the opening wicket in 2006.

Zaman and Imam's partnership is also highest ever opening partnership for Pakistan beating the record of Inzamam-ul-Haq and Aamer Sohail in 1994 against England.
