O. Panneerselvam, the Former Tamil Nadu chief minister today had met with the officials of the Election Commission (EC) in connection to have a claim on the symbol of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK).
He had asked the panel to organize an election for the post of general secretary.
Sasikala is convicted in a case and his nephew T.T.V Dhinakaran was elected as the deputy general secretary of AIADMK.
On April 12 by-polls are scheduled to take place and the result of it will be announced on 15 April.
