Sexuality has been a major aspect of our identity, since time immemorial.
Man and Woman are no more the only two options considered under the classification of sexuality. We can proudly claim that our society has progressed enough to let people chose their partner of interest according to them, irrespective not just of their cast or creed but also the sex of their body.
We have finally accepted people with a different sexual interest than the conjectures of our society. Bisexuals or better referred to as Pansexuals have been accepted as a part of our society better than before.
Janelle Monae, a singer by profession mentioned to the Rolling Stone magazine that she could completely relate to the term, 'Pansexual'.
The Meriam Webster's dictionary defines Pansexuality as a sexual desire or attraction which does not depend on the gender of people or their sexual orientation.
'Pansexual' has been used maximum times on the Twitter.
A fan of Janelle supported her by posting, "The best part of @JanelleMonae's coming out, was the inclusion of the very real fact that our sexualities and identities can change as much as we do (if we want). that our language can evolve in whatever ways we need it to. I needed that representation and lots of others do too."
The Human Rights campaign backed her by tweeting, "Not only is @JanelleMonae proudly living her truth, she is bringing visibility to others whose sexual orientations are often erased or ignored."
It also wrote, "For those who need more information on what #bisexual, #pansexual and #queer identities mean, here's a quick rundown."
