Rahul Gandhi is amongst the major opponent of the Bhartiya Janata Party and possibly the Sangh also.
A lot of times there has been a verbal war between the two parties.
As per the latest information provided, it is being said that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has invited Congress president, Rahul Gandhi to address an event of the RSS scheduled to be held from the September 17 to September 19.
The news shall be confirmed by the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. However, congress said that No RSS invite for Rahul Gandhi yet.
The Congress has said that party president Rahul Gandhi is yet to obtain any invitation for an event of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in the national capital. When questioned about news of the RSS inviting the congress scion, Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi staed on Monday that the party would act in response only when it gets the invitation from the right-wing outfit.
"I do not answer hypothetical, speculative questions...This is purely imaginary at the moment. I have said to you categorically upon checking that we have received no invitation as I speak," stated the Congress leader.
"As and when we receive an invitation, the Congress party receives an invitation, there will be an appropriate (and) proper response and you all will be shared with that response," he further said.
Well, it this comes true, it would be indeed interesting to watch Rahul deliver a speech amonst his major critics. RSS will also be inviting leaders from varied beliefs and ideologies in the event.
The guests may include Communist Party of India (Marxist) general secretary Sitaram Yechury.
Talking about the same, Arun Kumar, the RSS prachar pramukh asserted that the Sangh shall be conducting a 3 day event for the first time based on lectures.
The event is being speculated to include the lectures of leaders based on the topic, 'Future of Bharat: An RSS perspective'.
The RSS event shall be held in the Vigyan Bhavan in the month of September.
