Salman Khan is always seen doing something new. Apart from just acting he is interested in producing and distributing films as well. His recent film, ‘race3’ which will hit the cinema on 15th of June (eid) hold a Salman as one of the distributors.
Two years back, he had planned on starting his own theatre chain with the name ‘Salman talkies’. The main focus of this chain will be to reduce the price of tickets as compared to other theatres. Children from the weaker section of the society will receive the tickets for free and no tax would be charged. His motives are really nice and an attempt to encourage cinema in India.
Although the plan had taken roots in 2016 he is taking care of every single and minute detail which is very time-consuming. Some changes are also required and he is working on it.
He mentioned that the theatres will be on the outskirts of the city and not in the posh areas like Bandra.
By taking the distribution in race 3 he is making his first step into the business, he says he wants to do so much more.
Talking about the expensive tickets issue, he said that the tickets cost no less than 400 to 500 bucks but it shouldn’t cost that much. At highest it should be around 150 on the weekdays and 250 for the weekends.
Eros now was supposed to distribute race 3 but stepped out of it in the last moment and therefore Salman took it up, He will also be seen distributing Ayush Sharma's film Loveratri who is Arpita Sharma's husband. This is Ayush's debut in Bollywood.
