Sidharth Malhotra will be seen in back to back three films A Gentleman, Ittefaq and Aiyaary respectively. However, not only his professional life but his personal life also has always been a centre of discussion. 

Recently when Sidharth was asked about his rumoured relationship with Alia Bhatt, he in a very quirky way said, why just Alia, he has been linked with almost all his co-stars except Brothers co-star Akshay Kumar, "Competition, in this industry, has a different connotation. Here, there will always be people who have worked before you. You have to make peace with the fact that there will even be better performers coming in after you. In order to maintain your sanity, you can only compete with your last performance. That’s all that matters. Why would I care about Varun and Alia’s careers? I have too much on my plate to worry about anyway." 

Talking about his film, A Gentleman, he said, "I like the simplicity of Gaurav and I like how clear-headed, single-minded, happy, calm. He wants to have simple pleasures in life - buy a house, good food and the girlfriend who will eventually become his wife and then have kids. He has an obsessive complex disorder in a way that he is very organised. A lot of humour comes out of him wanting simple things in life. One thing I want to learn from Gaurav is cook food and clean my house. My mum would be happy. "
