Huma Qureshi is among those Bollywood celebrities who have struggled in their career. The stairs to their success were not easy to walk. She has no godfather in the industry. She did it on her own.

Recently the actress is interviewed by PTI news agency there she shared her perspective about the problems women face in Bollywood and glamour world.

She even talked about the #metoo campaign which trended last year. In this campaign, many Hollywood and even Bollywood actresses shared about the abuse. That they also were physically and sexually abused. In Hollywood Industry the campaign trended on a large scale. Even actress like Angelina Jolie Gwyneth Paltrow, Salma Hayek, along with people from other walks of life shared their stories of sexual abuse.

Huma Qureshi said that it can only happen in Hollywood not here because there the actresses come up in public and revealed their stories but here even if they have shared their stories they had not revealed their names.

I don’t think so the #metoo campaign has any scope in Bollywood industry as not even in India. But she really wishes that campaigns like #metoo should be wholeheartedly accepted by Indians so that women can also open up and share their stories and live without fear.
