Pasta is what fills your mouth with water, everytime it strikes your thoughts. And when you are a spice-lover, seldom do you find that perfect taste. Pasta with an Indian twist would surely excite you if you melt for a spicy meal. To delight you with joy and to serve you with all that perfect taste, we have a very special and an extremely exotic recipe for the "Indo Pasta".

INGREDIENTS:

-2 cups pasta (whichever shape you prefer).

-3 tablespoons of butter (quantity can be altered according to taste).

-2/3 teaspoon of cumin or jeera. -3 cloves garlic.

-2 finely chopped onions. -3 chopped carrots

-2/3 cup of fresh green peas

-1/2 cup freshly chopped capsicum

-1 cup tomato puree

-Salt can be added according to your taste.

-½ teaspoon of red chilli powder

-½ teaspoon of garam masala, for a rich flavour

-If you like your pasta with a creamy sauce like texture, you may also add some fresh cream to it.

PREPARATION:

In a big vessel, boil suitable amount of water and to it, add the pasta.

Let it cook for sometime, until it becomes soft.

Once you observe it's softness, drain the excessive amount of water.

THE SAUCE:

-To a heated pan, add some oil and let it heat for some more time.

-When you feel the oil is warm enough, add jeera and crushed or chopped garlic to it.

- Let it fry for sometime until turns golden-yellow.

- To the mixture, add onions and let them fry until they become slightly pink in colour.

-To the mixture, add some veggies, as much as you like and fry for 3-4 minutes.

-Pour the tomato puree in a different vessel.

-To it, add salt and cook for sometime until the the paste becomes pretty thick.

-Add the paste to the veggies and let them mix well. Let the flavors amalgamate.

-Now add some red chili powder and garam masala powder to the paste.

- Mix properly and cook for at least 2 minutes.

-Switch off the Stowe, add cream to the paste and stir well.

- Add the boiled pasta to it.

-Mix it well, let it absorb all the flavors properly. Garnish your dish with coriander or any other veggie you like. Serve hot and with love.
