Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], October 31: Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Mohsin Raza on Tuesday said that those looking for enlightenment in their life can take on saffron.

"Yogi Adityanath is trying to take the Uttar Pradesh towards enlightenment because the Opposition has left the country in the gloominess during their governance. Those who want enlightenment in their life should take on saffron. I challenge that after this they will be booming in life, as the saffron color gives the energy to live," Mohsin Raza quoted, though reacting to Oppositions criticism on Chief Minister's Office in Lucknow being painted in the saffron shade.

The secretariat building, in which houses the offices of state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and top bureaucrats in Lucknow, is now being painted saffron.

Previously, Yogi Adityanath had turned around a fleet of 50 saffron buses.

This move has invited condemnations from Opposition parties, who laid blame on the state government of 'saffronisation' of the system.
