Earlier BJP Union Minister Ananthkumar Hegde commented and likened opposition party members as monkeys, foxes While he called prime minister Narendra Modi as Tiger.

 Addressing a gathering in Karnataka, Union Minister Ananthkumar Hegde was seen in a video that has gone round on social media likened the Opposition parties to crows, monkeys, foxes and donkeys, among other animals.

“On one side crows, monkeys, foxes and others have come together, On the other side we have a tiger. In 2019, choose to elect the tiger: Ananthkumar Hegde,Union Minister in Karnataka's Karwar (28.6.18).” ANI tweeted.

“We are sitting on plastic chairs isn't it?(asking the audience). This is due to Congress rule, had we ruled for 70 years, you would have been sitting on silver chairs.: Ananthkumar Hegde,Union Minister (28.6.18).” ANI reported in other tweet

He also said that all are coming together to take on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the upcoming elections.

Last month, Hegde also trained  gun and launched an attack on the then Congress chief minister Siddaramaiah and called him ‘Ravana’ who is taking the grand old party Congress down. He named Siddaramaiah a “ghost” and was quoted as saying: ‘The house where the ghosts enters will not survive’.

While comparing the senior Congress leader with a ghost, he made allegations that the projects launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi have not been executed in Karnataka as “Ravana rajya” triumphed in the southern state.
