Lucknow: At least three people were taken life while seven others were wounded after Vasco Da Gama -Patna Express derailed near Uttar Pradesh's Banda on Friday, Â as per news agency ANI reported.
The incident reportedly took place at around 4:18 am after the Patna-bound train left Manikpur station near Banda.
Reports also asserted that the wounded have been shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment.

The Ministry of Railways tweeted a list of helpline numbers as well as declared an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakhs for the relatives of dead, Rs one lakhs for the grievously wounded and Rs 50,000 for those with simple injuries.
UP ADG (law and order) told that the cause of the accident was almost certainly a fractured Railway track as per local assessment, according to ANI's report said.
"We have set of connections to helpline numbers, rescue and relief operations are in progress," Anil Saxena, PRO Indian Railways said to the news agency.
