New Delhi [India], Aug 1 (NT): Captain Virat Kohli and Company will look to throw out their horrors from 2014's embarrassing Test series defeat on the soil of England as Wednesday's opening clash against English men at Edgbaston Cricket Ground are giving them a shot at deliverance.
Taking about four years ago India have taken the lead in the second of the five-match series at Lords, but stunningly lost all of their remaining three matches. In these matches India lost the last two by an innings ending up conceding the series 1-3.
In ten innings Indian captain played in 2014, Kohli scored a simple 126 runs, falling victim to Anderson and Broad five times.
In spite of this , with excellent performance everywhere Virat Kohli will not only look to address the one aspect of his outstanding batting which has so far been found not up to scratch, he will also be setting his eyes on becoming the excellent leader which he will become by collapsing a frightening England in home conditions.
