New Delhi: Indian captain Virat Kohli and run machine dedicated his historic Test ton on the second evening of the first Test against England at Edgbaston to his beloved wife Anushka Sharma.
 The “Virat”century, en route to his impressive knock of 149 runs off 225 balls, was his first on soil of Engalnad in Test cricket. In total it was his 22nd Test century and fourth against England.
Kohli's grand ton came in dramatic tone as survived through James Anderson shock, played a cautious innings and formed two crucial partnerships with Ishant Sharma and then Umesh Yadav.
 Virat being the primary contributor en route to his first-ever century in England, put all the horrors from 2014 to a stop, where he had scored 134 runs in 10 innings at an average of 13.40.
With a gain of four down point off Ben Stokes, Virat Kohli reached the landmark. He raised his bat, eddy it around removed his gloves to kiss the ring hanged on the chain that cling on his neck and with that touching and lovable gesture; he dedicated his fearless ton to his wife Anushka, who was present at the venue.
