World Environment Day is which focuses on reaching the growth and awareness of the environment.
It officially started in the year 1974and now that people realised it’s importance. It has grown to become a global platform It is widely celebrated in over 100 countries.
 World Environment Day is the day when people decide to do something great for nature and take care of the mother Earth.

Each year World Environment Day is organised with a theme that benefits the people and environment all over the world. This year’s theme for the World Environment Day 2018 is beat plastic pollution. 
As we’re all aware of the harmful effects of polythene in the society, may it be the polymer intake of plastic leading to death.
There is a great need to reduce the use of plastic pollution, in fact, it should be totally removed but things take time but we should take this firm step right here, right now. 
This will not only help the health of humans but will largely affect the animal lives too. 
After the invention of plastic, we have become extra dependent on it.
