There are such things buried in the womb of the earth, about which we are still unaware today. Today we are going to tell you about one such city which has come out from under the river. Yes, something similar has been seen in kurdistan province of Iraq. Archaeologists have discovered a 3,400-year-old city. Yes, and such information about this city has come out, which can surprise anyone. Right now, there is a crowd of archaeologists as well as common people to see this site.

Archaeologists have said that the 3,400-year-old city is found under the Tigris River. He says that this ancient city of bronze age city was settled between 1475 BC and 1275 BC by the Mitanni Empire, which ruled parts of northern Mesopotamia. Let me tell you all that recently a team of Kurdish and German researchers found the remains of a village (Kemune) located in this city. In such a situation, it is feared that it was completely destroyed in the earthquake during 1350 BC, although some of its ruins are preserved under the collapsed walls. The area was submerged during the construction of the Mosul dam in the 1980s, however, even then the researchers were aware of it, but due to being submerged in water, the investigation could not be done.

With this, researchers had known about the remains of the city for a long time, but they could only investigate it during the drought, as the city was completely submerged. Right now, this area of Iraq is facing extreme drought, due to which when the ancient city came out of the water to the surface, once again an investigation has been launched into it (Kemune). Kemune is the only known urban center of the Mitani Empire, located on the Tigris River. Let me tell you all that the archaeologists had partially excavated it in the year 2018 also.

Then they had discovered a palace with 22-foot-high walls and several rooms decorated with paintings. But this time while excavating the city, archaeologists have discovered a palace and several giant buildings. Yes, and these include many multi-storey buildings. It is being told that they may have been used for storage or industries. Porcelain, over 100 archives have also been found in the remains of the ancient city.
