State Sports Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia said that break dance is planning to start a break dance academy in Madhya Pradesh to promote the game of break dance. Breakdance has also been included in the Olympics. The break dance at the Paris Olympics 2024 is going to be played under the name of 'Breaking'.

Yashodhara Raje has spoken about the fact that Madhya Pradesh has made a mark in the field of sports at present. The academies that are operating in the state are all the Academies of Excellence. Scindia said that break dance has been taken as a cutter named Olympic Breaking by the International Olympic Committee. Breakdance has been included in the Olympics because it is also said to be very popular among the dancing youth.

He has said that the talents have started to be tested in many reality shows. The inclusion of breakdance as a sport is also going to give opportunities to many talents. Not only that, he has said that our target is now an international medal, so a talent search programme has also been organized by the Sports Department to find such break dancing talents.

The objective of this is to evaluate how much potential there is in break dancing in Madhya Pradesh and is also considering opening a break dance academy in the future. He has said that along with the games established in the state, the young talent of the state can show their skills and get medals in the new games also, that is our goal.
