New Delhi: An 18-year-old man was shot dead in the Alipur area of outer Delhi. It is alleged that the brother of the girl with whom the deceased youth was friends has shot the youth along with two of his accomplices. The accused brother did not like their friendship. Police have arrested the three accused in the case. Two pistols have also been recovered. Police claim that the youth was shot at with the same weapon. The police have sent the weapons for investigation.
The incident is said to have taken place late Sunday night. The police were called by the father of the injured Karan Thapa and informed that his son had been shot by someone. Police launched an investigation and found that the main accused was Vikrant, who has two other accomplices Vikas and Ashish. Police said the youth was rushed to a local hospital from the spot but was rushed to Babasaheb Ambedkar Hospital from there. He is undergoing treatment there in a critical condition. He's not even in a position to make a statement right now.
Police said a case of attempt to murder has been registered in the case. In the meantime, the young man used to talk to the girl. To which his brother had objected. The father said the attackers had come on bikes. They had two guns. Meanwhile, a police team that reached the spot also recovered three cartridges from the spot. One of them is a live cartridge while two are said to be cartridges containing miss fire. The forensic team is investigating it.
