Amritsar: A high voltage drama has been witnessed between husband and wife in Amritsar city of Punjab. As soon as the man's wife came out of the hotel room with her lover, the husband started slapping her. The entire case was captured in a nearby CCTV. It is being told that the woman was having a case of divorce with her husband, but even after taking money from her husband, the woman refused to divorce and the woman's husband came to know that his wife stayed in a hotel with her lover. Then the husband went to the hotel with some of his colleagues and after seeing the wife in the hotel, he beat her up.

The man himself is a police constable and a resident of Jalandhar and his wife is from Gurdaspur and her boyfriend is an employee of SGPC. The man has accused his wife that she had been having a love affair with a young man for a long time and she had been cheating on him for a long time. When he came to know that she was staying in the hotel with her lover, he reached here to catch her red-handed. The constable alleges that she was married almost six years ago. But the wife often kept fighting with him on small matters. Many times the wife used to fight and go to her maternal home. Both families and the panchayat had also made an agreement that both would live peacefully in Jalandhar.  

The constable told that usually, his wife used to be busy on mobile. He started to doubt his wife's character. Ranjit Avenue police station in-charge Inspector Robin Hans said that the matter is being investigated. The detained boyfriend of her is being interrogated.
