New Delhi: Farmers are on strike against the agricultural laws brought by the central government. The strike of farmers has been going on for 38 days. Farmers are sitting on dharna at the borders of Delhi, the capital of the country, even in the cold winter. In Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad district, a large number of farmers are frozen at the UP gate. They are adamant about demanding that the government repeal the new law. Negotiations are to be held between the farmer leaders and the government. Before the meeting with the government, a farmer has committed suicide by hanging himself in the toilet.

According to the information, an elderly farmer committed suicide in a mobile toilet provided by the Municipal Corporation. The name of the deceased farmer is Kashmir Singh. The 75-year-old Kashmiri is said to be from the Bilaspur tehsil area of Rampur district of UP. Kashmir Singh's suicide note has also been recovered. In his suicide note, he has written that where he died, his grandson should perform the last rites. His funeral should be done on the Delhi-UP border only.

Farmer Kashmir has written that the government is responsible for its suicide, how long will we sit here in the cold. Describing the government as a failure, the farmer has said that this government is not listening, so I am going to give my life so that a solution can be found. According to Bijendra Yadav, state head of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKIU) Tikait, the responsibility has now increased on him that the demands of agitating farmers should be made known to the government.
