'Gahlot and pilot responsible for my death', writes farmer who committed suicide by eating poison

Jaipur: The case of a farmer from Thakhari village under Raisinghnagar sub-division of Sriganganagar district of Rajasthan has come to light after he committed suicide by eating poison. A suicide note was also recovered from the deceased. In which he has cited the state Congress government's failure to fulfill its debt waiver promise as the cause of its death.

Sohan Kadla, 43, a resident of village Thahari, ate the poisonous substance in his house on Sunday. He was brought to a government hospital for treatment in critical condition. He was referred to Sriganganagar when the condition was critical. But on the way, Sohanlal succumbed. Police have placed the body of the deceased in a government hospital mortuary.  In the suicide note, Sohanlal wrote, "I am going to end my life today. Nobody is to blame. Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Are Pilots Responsible For My Death."

The farmer further wrote that Gehlot and the pilot had made a statement that if our Government came, your entire debt would be waived in 10 days. Now, what happened to their promise? I request all the peasants to not to raise my corpse until the debt of all the farmers is waived off. Today, the time has come to bow down to the Government.  At the same time, the farmer wrote in his suicide note that my death should be imposed on Ashok Gehlot.
