Islamabad: A case of shot dead a Hindu businessman has come to light in Pakistan. The deceased has been identified as Satan Lal. The incident happened on Monday. Satan Lal has been shot near Daharki town in Ghotki district of Sindh province. The accused are said to be related to the Dahar community. A few days ago, Satan Lal had talked about getting death threats in a property dispute and leaving Pakistan and going to India.

Property dispute is being said to be the reason for his murder. In protest against the murder, the agitated people blocked the highway. Mukhi Anil Kumar, a friend of Satan Lal, told the media that, 'The cotton factory and flour mill were about to be inaugurated on Satan Lal's land. During this, some people shot him. Earlier it appeared that aerial firing was done to welcome the spiritual leader of the community, Sen Sadharam Saheb.'

Satan Lal had alleged a few months ago that he has been threatened and told that if he wants to live, he should leave Pakistan and go to India. Its video also went viral on social media. In this he said that 'They are threatening to kill me, tear out my eyes and cut off my arms and legs. They are asking me to leave Pakistan. I belong to this country and I would like to die here, but I will not surrender. The land on the side of the road is mine and why should I leave it.' Satan Lal had urged the Chief Justice of Pakistan and other officials to bring him justice in this case. However, no action was taken on this.
