Srinagar: The State Investigation Agency (SIA) of the Jammu-Kashmir Police has filed a charge sheet against three persons, including an Indian student and his father, who took admission in a Pakistani institute. Police said on Tuesday that a charge sheet has been filed under the anti-terror law against Asif Shabir naik, a student from Kashmirgarh in Doda district, his father Shabbir Hussain Naik and Safdar Hussain. All these terrorist organizations belong to Hizbul Mujahideen.

Forensic examination of Shabbir's phone has revealed that he had video graphed military installations on Baramulla-Srinagar road. At the same time, pictures of the way to reach the airport and the security places adjacent to it were also taken. Investigations reveal that the terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen showed Naik as a student to save him. While in Pakistan, Shabbir also met his father, who himself is the chief of Hizbul's media unit. Shabbir also underwent training for terror attacks in Pakistan.

Asif Shabbir was shown to be a student of Masscom at the International Islamic University in Islamabad but was working in the media unit of the terror outfit. Of these, Shabbir and Safdar are currently in Pakistan. Shabbir was arrested on the basis of intelligence inputs at Srinagar airport.
