Rajnandgaon: A shocking news has emerged from the Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh. Here a 23-year-old girl was raped by a man of a father's age. The age of the offender is said to be 55 years. The incident took place in the Dhumka police station area, the police have arrested the culprit. Police reported that the man, on some pretext, took the girl to the drain outside the village, the area is deserted and it is here that he raped the girl. After the girl's complaint, the police nabbed the culprit.

The girl said in her complaint that on Wednesday, Sitaram Verma, a resident of Barbaspur. He came to the girl's house and took the girl towards the drain on some pretext. That's where he did the wrong thing. According to the villagers, the matter was reported when some people were passing by the drain. Thereafter, the criminal fled from there. Later, the girl reported the entire matter to the villagers and family members.

Thereafter, the family members complained to the police about the entire matter, after the complaint, the police arrested the culprit on Friday. Police said the girl was staying at home. While the criminal worked as a farm farmer. The investigation in the case is currently going on.
