Actor Chandan Roy Sanyal, who played the role of 'Bhopa Swami' in the 'Ashram' web series, has been hit by a mountain of grief. The actor's father Gobind Sanyal has passed away. Chandan has also informed about it by sharing the post on social media.

Chandan wrote- "My dad was Joey De Vivre! He touched many with his laughter and jokes. His soul left for the next trip. He has accomplished his purpose on this earth. Everyone who met him should know that he left yesterday. "It's peace!" Fans are liking this post a lot and express their grief.  

According to media reports, Chandan is also being liked a lot in the role of 'Bhopa Swami' in the 'Ashram' web series. Bobby Deol has also played the role of Baba Nirala in this series. Along with Bobby Deol and Chandan, the series also starred Darshan Kumar, Tushar Pandey, Anupriya Goenka, Tridha Chaudhary, Sachin Shroff and Anil Rastogi. Both seasons of this series were well-liked by the people. Now the third season of this series is coming.
